you know, i kinda like this new OP format change. by inserting the 'episode preview piece' into the song/animation it does slightly shorten the episode length. but, then with the multi-parter arcs there's all that 'previously on Conan' review bits still used.

hmm. ah well, i guess they gotta do that recap JIC folks forgot what happened last week.

What do you mean they have been doing this since episode 2 I mean compared to one piece it sadly never does it Lll this as the recap sometimes is after the opening

really? are you sure? because i'm nigh on 100% certain the 'episode preview piece' has NOT been INSIDE the 1m 30s OP song/animation this whole time. the TMS Conan Team were putting it right at the tail-end of the OP just like almost all episodic anime did. it usually came after Conan's VA doing the line /i'm paraphrasing here/ 'Meitantei Conan is sponsored by the following... ' PNG, Being Group, and etc. logos were grouped on-screen in a big pattern... then the 'episode preview piece' would play... annnd then the episode started.

Once we made it to opening 3 Conan always recapped a episode before it starts
